Heading to Hanoi!

Hello! Or shall I say Xin cha'o!

It's that special time of year again where we take off to magical foreign lands to eat street food that makes our tummies boil, possibly make poor decisions, endure crowds, dirty blistered feet and countless sport sandal wearing Europeans...all in the name of FUN! This go-around we are heading to Vietnam and our first stop is the capital city of Hanoi.

As you can see the weather is going to be absolutely fabulous...and even more fabulous will be the frizz-poof formerly known as my hair with these humidity levels. Being the seasoned travelers we are, we somehow overlooked the seasonal weather patterns and chose to go to Vietnam the worst month possible weather wise. Great pre-trip researching!

Hair today, gone tomorrow.
Just busy packing up, getting Ari ready for another extended visit at Gram's, and Jimmy is out back setting up a motion sensor sprinkler to ward off the damn raccoons that keep destroying our yard in the middle of the night. You know, normal to-do tasks before leaving the country.

Next stop, *Hanoi!

*actually Seattle where I get to meet my sis and Ella for a quick airport lunch, South Korea then Hanoi. 24 hours of travel before our first piping hot bowl bowl of pho...oof!
